This Privacy Policy explains how Roanuz Softwares Private Limited (“Roanuz”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Roanuz Ants Cricket Editor, including the Ants scoring app for iOS and Android, and our website at theants.app/cricket (together, the “Service”).

Information We Collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in details when you are invited to the Service, sign in (including with Google), or contact us.
• Cricket data: tournaments, matches, scores, and player and official profiles entered by leagues and other organisations (“Organisations”). Player profiles may include details such as name, date of birth, nationality, and photo.
• Photos: when you set a player’s profile picture in the Ants app, the app opens your photo library so you can pick an image. Only the photo you choose is uploaded and stored with that player’s profile. The app does not read, scan, or upload any other photos on your device, and it does not use your camera.
• Activity information: a record of who made each change and when, so scoring stays accurate and can be audited.
• Device and usage information: technical details such as IP address, device and browser type, operating system, app version, and crash reports.

Data Entered by Organisations

Organisations decide what cricket data to enter and publish through the Service. We process this data on their behalf, only to provide the Service. Organisations are responsible for having the right to enter and publish information about their players, officials, and other people.

Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Our website also uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our pages, but only if you accept analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the page footer.

The Ants mobile app does not use Google Analytics or any advertising or tracking services.

How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and secure the Service, including realtime scoring and publishing match data.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.
• To fix problems and improve the Service.
• To send you invitations, security notices, and service updates.
• To comply with legal obligations.

How We Share Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share information only with members of your Organisation, with the destinations an Organisation chooses to publish its data to, with trusted service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting, email delivery, crash reporting, and analytics), and where required by law.

Data Security and Storage

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls, to protect your information. Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than your own, and we take steps to keep it protected as described in this policy.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and longer only where the law requires it.

You can delete your account at any time using the Delete account option in the Ants app. You can also email contact@roanuz.com with the subject “Delete my Ants account”. Once your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, contact us using the details below. If your information was entered by an Organisation, such as a player profile, we may ask that Organisation to respond.

Children’s Privacy

Accounts on the Service are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Organisations that record information about junior players are responsible for obtaining any required consent from a parent or guardian.

Third-Party Websites

The Service may link to websites run by others. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and let account holders know about significant changes.
